Hoople has supported Herefordshire Council Libraries Service in bringing a new digital engagement project to life, following their successful funding bid to Arts Council England. IT Services configured and installed tablets, stands and charging units across libraries in Hereford, Leominster, Ledbury, Ross‑on‑Wye, Kington and Colwall, with additional equipment ready for outreach activity in the wider community.

This work helps ensure the new digital resources are welcoming, dependable and ready to support the library service’s programme of customer activities and partnerships.

Hoople CEO, Audrey Clements and Head of Hoople IT Services, Simon Mortimore, recently attended a launch event for the new tablet service at Hereford Town Hall. Representatives from the county’s libraries, friends’ groups, library users, Herefordshire Council and other interested parties were also in attendance for the launch of this exciting new initiative, which will increase digital accessibility for people across Herefordshire.
