Hoople Study Programme rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
We are delighted that our Study Programme has been rated ‘Good’ following a recent inspection by Ofsted.
The programme is aimed at 16-19 year olds who have struggled in mainstream school, and supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as education and skills to gain employment.
In their report, inspectors praised the skills of the tutors, the quality of the curriculum and the safeguarding provision, reflecting that:
“Learners enjoy their time at Hoople. Staff have created a highly inclusive environment in which learners, who have previously faced challenges in mainstream education, are able to thrive.”
Stephen Weller, Head of Commercial Development, who has managed the Programme over recent years, responded:
“We are very proud of our Study Programme and the achievements of the learners, and the Ofsted rating is a reflection of everyone’s hard work. We will continue to strive to improve the Programme in order to help our students overcome the challenges they have faced in education and prepare them for rewarding careers.”
