Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and experience Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and vibrant primary academy team, in Acorn Class and across the school.

Candidates will have:

 

·                HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

·                A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

·                Proven experience working within a primary school setting

·                A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning

·                Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting pupil wellbeing

Key Responsibilities:

 

·                Deliver high-quality learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes as required

·                Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare and assess learning

·                Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs

·                Lead classes in the short-term absence of teachers

·                Monitor, record and report on pupil progress

·                Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
